P&H Shovels

Ewbank Electrical and Control is involved with the rebuilding, modification, maintenance, upgrading, faultfinding and commissioning of P&H Electrical Rope Shovels.

Our experience cover the following P&H machines.

• PH 2300Mk2 (ElectroTorque)
• PH 2100BLE (ElectroTorque)
• PH 1900 (MagneTorque)
• PH 2100 (MagneTorque)
• PH Dragline
• PH Over Burden Drill

Our practical experience enable us to design effective control and protection systems that ensures that our customers continually achieve excellent availability of their shovel fleet.

Work on these machines has been carried out in the following countries.

• South Africa
• Zambia
• Botswana
• Iran

Demag Machines

Ewbank Electrical and Control has to its credit the total rebuild and upgrading of the following Demag Hydraulic Shovels.

• Demag 285
• Demag 455

Ewbank Electrical re cabled five of the above hydraulic shovels and fitted them with a PLC controlled system.

A SCADA system has also been developed to do advance data logging and fault recording.
